I saw Betsy on many of my return trips to Pittsburgh at the book store. She greeted me as if I never left town and was, of course, a hoot.

Lesley and I spent some time with Betsy at Melodie's and Paul's home at Seven Springs last fall and then again at breakfast the next morning.  She was delightful and was, of course, a hoot.

Life with Betsy must have been very rich, fulfilling, and interesting at the Laquinta household.  I will miss Betsy knowing full well that she was very special.  I am glad I knew her.

Betsy was friend who always made me feel special.  She was my Pittburgh connection.  I miss the opportunity to pick up the phone to catch up.  Our adventure last year at the 'mini reunion' at 7 Springs was a perfect remembrance.  Lots of laughter. A great way to remember a 'one of a kind' person.

I used to run into Betsy at little league baseball games when my son played for Upper St,. Clair and he played against Mt. Lebanon.  We enjoyed watching the games together.  I still think about her even though time has passed since she left us.  She was everyones friend. She'll always be missed and remembered.

I would also see Betsy at the bookstore when I came back to Pittsburgh to visit my parents and other friends. Even though it had been sooo many years since we had been in school together, she alway greeted me with a big smile and it was fun catching up on the Mt Lebonan "news" with her. She also gave me some wonderful book recommendations!  I miss her, but she is a great memory.
